Talking about it, don’t forget that the DOGE has fired people to prevent bird flu and protect the US nuclear arsenal. (The problem of chainsaw launch is that you do not make clean cuts.) Who is doing so in a needle and inadequate regime that they can mistakenly burn a few people who really know how to take care of the nuclei? This is worse than you think in the same way that your brain is a bit broken when you try to imagine how deep the ocean is. This is worse than you think because the courts have already been damaged. This is worse than you think because it seems that the people who run the government have a higher mission to watch it.
Federal agencies can be quite more efficient, but we have passed that efficiency is an acceptable goal. Reducing the dog has no obvious attention to civil society or the cost of long -term strategic opportunity or thinking. Their goals are Elon Musk and Project 2025 goals. They have not found any frauds, only democracy at work. They are apparently eager to see what happens when it doesn’t.
This is worse than you think because so far has done all the dog, put a boulder in the middle of the pond. If you think this is bad, wait for the waves.
