Pre -game tips
There are things to do before you really play. Here are some tips for setting up everything, because the Quest interface is not always the easiest move.
Set your border.Human beings the last thing you want to play is to go to an object in your room in your room while essentially eye -catching. Your effort will guide you through the border setting process. The room allows you to draw a play space to move freely, constant when standing. But what do you do if you move places? Or do you want to play a sitting game instead of standing?
To change your border, press the Oculus button on your right controller (this is only under the joystick). It takes the menu at the bottom of the page (if the menu is not pre -shown, you just have to do it). From there, if you are more than a floating watch, you can select the fast settings panel. Then select the Guardian. If you choose the fixed, you just have to confirm and all you have set up. If you choose the room, it will guide you by drawing a new guardian border.
Your effort may also support room mapping, which uses external cameras to find walls and objects in your space and remember them later. This enables the movement between the rooms smooth and hassle -free as well as the possibility of advanced XR features in some games. You can find the information about this feature in your settings ‘setting’ tab.
Buy gamesMeta Quest Store is the easiest way to buy a game for your headset, but there are three ways to do it. Regardless of which option you choose, you should have a payment method in the file (credit card, a debt card or PayPal). The browser is the easiest way to enter these details.
- Browser: Enter the store. From there, you can type the game name in the search bar at the top right or click on “Applications and Games” to review. After selecting a game, there is a blue button on the right side of the page that lists the price. Pick it and make you buy.
- Application: Upload the Oculus app and sign in to your account. Click the store button at the bottom left and, like the browser steps, you can move through it or search for a specific title. After clicking on a game, the program uses the same button with the price system at the bottom of the page. Just click the button, review and buy the payment details.
- Headset: Repeat the lower menu using the headset. The Orange One Store icon is with a small shopping bag. Click on this, and you can browse through the game or search. After selecting a game and looking for its information page, tap the blue button to the right with the price marker to buy.
Note: If the game is free, the blue button instead of the price list, “Get”. And if you buy the game through a browser or app, you still need to load it to your headset. See the next step.
Load and access your gamesAfter buying a game, you have to load it. If you have purchased it through the store on your headset, the loading should start automatically. When the work is finished, the button changes to the “game” so you can jump to the right.
If you have purchased the game through a browser or app, go to the store on your headset and search the game. The store lists it as “purchased”, but when you click on its information page, the blue button changes the price list to “loading”. Click it and automatically show you the loading bar.
If your headset is connected, or in the charging pond and in standby mode, you can also use the Oculus app to start loading on the device. I use this to choose a game through my phone and it’s ready to go after I turn on the headset.
To access all your games – both purchased and loaded – by taping the Oculus button in that right controller, you raise the lower menu bar. From there, click the “Application” button on the right (one with nine points). It shows you all your purchases, and you can filter to see only the items that are installed or not. Click the game icon and need to be loaded correctly.
Newer screenHuman beings sometimes, you will notice that your screen is no longer in the way you want. You may have turned off your headset to check your phone or drink some water, or maybe in the game and want to change your orientation. To quickly adjust your view, hold the meta button on the right controller for a few seconds. You will see that a small dialing appears, and after the filling, the view will be reset on the path you are looking for right now.
Check your battery lifeHumans with full charge, the Quest battery usually takes about two hours. If you are not sure how much your juice has left your juice, place the Oculus button on the right controller to raise the lower menu. On the left, under the clock, there is a little battery symbol that gives you a rough device of your charging. If you click on it, it brings the quick settings page. At the top left is the exact percentage as well as each of your controllers.
