How to see the entire lunar eclipse and blood moon this month

Astronomical lovers in America, get ready for a cure! In early March 14, a lunar eclipse will be visible throughout the United States. This type of cramping occurs when the earth blocks the light from the sun, which usually illuminates the moon, and thus appears in deep red, as if it are covered in the blood.

On the night of March 13 and early in the fourteenth morning, the darkest part of the shadow of the earth, called Umbra, covers the moon throughout its stages. Lunar congestion is relatively common when the moon becomes clear – but cases that coincide with a full moon are relative rare. On average, each area of the land has the chance to see lunar eclipse only once every 2.5 years.

The second lunar eclipse takes place on September 7 and will be visible in eastern Africa, most of Asia and the western half of Australia.

NASA’s video shows a schedule to view the entire eclipse in the United States in March 2025.

The moon looks like the moon during the lunar eclipse due to the way the sunlight interacts with the Earth’s atmosphere. The sunlight looks white, but it actually consists of a combination of lights with different colors, which can be separated or scattered depending on their atmosphere for travel. That is why the sky looks blue when the sun is high in the sky, but it is often red in the sunset, when the sun is low and its light moves over longer distances through the atmosphere.

When sunlight hits the Earth’s atmosphere during the eclipse, light frequencies are scattered to the blue end of the visible spectrum, away from the umbrella of the earth, but those with longer wavelengths, bent into the red part of the spectrum, bent inward and poured on the moon.

What time does the lunar eclipse occur?

According to NASA, the clogging begins at 8:57 pm. In Mexico, this phenomenon begins at 10:57 pm CDT, Argentina at 12:57 am (Art) and in Spain at 5:57 am (CET). The progress of the shadow of the earth will be slow throughout the moon. Observers will realize that the satellite will gradually lose light before it becomes red blood. It is expected that the overall clogging or when the blood moon appears, at 11:26 pm PDT. The peak will take about an hour.

Here is a list of time to start a whole lot for other US countries:
